Believe it or not, Southern California (LA area) is ripe with neo-cons. Anybody here remember B1 Bob Dornan?

I can attest to that - especially over where we lived in East LA. Lots of small (very conservative) cities like San Marino, Sierra Madre, Monrovia etc..

There's also a marked difference in attitudes between the old and younger generations.
