Need Help Urgently! Does approved Green Card makes EAD/AP invalid???

Hi everyone. I am in a very unique situation here I don't quite know what to do, anyone who has any info about this will be greatly appreciated! 

 

First of all, I have a pending AOS via K1 visa. Last month I finally received my EAD and AP combo card. Im flying out of the U.S the day after tomorrow. With all excitement and anticipation to visit my family back home, I didn't expect I would receive an email from USCIS like this:

 

Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS 
Your Case Status: Card/ Document Production 

On February 2, 2018, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number MSC1890204918, and will mail it to the address you gave us. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address. 

This step applies to applications that result in an applicant receiving a card (such as a "green card") or other document (such as a naturalization certificate, employment authorization document, travel document, or advance parole). Applications will be in this step from the time the order to produce the card/document is given until the card/document is produced and mailed to the applicant. You can expect to receive your card/document within 30 days of the approval of your application. If you do not receive your document, please contact our National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283. 
  

This seems like my green card has been approved and they will mail the card to me soon. But im flying out of the states in 2 days! Im really worried when I fly back using my EAD/AP card, the approved green card automatically would make it invalid thus unable to seek entry because I have an approved green card but i dont carry the card physically with me. Does anyone know anything about this? Pls impart your knowledge on me

Hi, i know it's 2019 now. Could you tell me your experience about that situation? I'm in the same situation too...and super worried

It isn't a big deal.  Your information will be retrieved by your A number and the CBP will see that the card was recently produced.  If the ask just say it didn't come before you left.
