Hello fellows!

No touches here either, just wanted to know cause my biometrics are tomorrow, what is it other than the fingerprints and the picture??

Thanks!

That's it. Bring an ID (state or passport), the biometrics letter, and if the person getting the biometrics done is the woman - bring your marriage certificate to show change of surname.

Good luck

We got another touch this morning.

This is the fourth touch since it was transfered to CSC.

As my husband says 'I hope that's a good thing.'

At least I know someone is doing something with the application.

Although I still think they are just tossing it from desk to desk to get my hopes up. *fistshake*

Eek, just checked again and my AOS has been touched this morning, as well as last night. Can't be getting transferred or anything 'interesting' like that pre-biometrics, surely... I'm definitely thinking 'RFE' here...

2006 - Filed I-129F

2007 - K-1 issued, moved to US, completed AOS (a busy year, immigration-wise)

2009 - Conditions lifted

I think Orlando covers a pretty big area.

Maybe they should think of transferring some cases.....I mean there is a Huge difference between 90 days and 700 days, for the same service I would think its not acceptable to have such a difference in the range.

My EAD & AP are still showing June 6th... but someone in MSC has apparently had a few unfortunate coffee spillages on my AOS file! June 11th, 19th, 20th - hmm, can't imagine what they're doing with it. It makes me uneasy!

Silke,

Thanks so much for attaching the chart on processing times at local offices - if anything it provides us with a framework to psycholigically deal with waiting! I see that the LA office takes 180+ days to process an AoS, which sort of settles me (a bit).

I was hoping for a September interview, but it may be more like October! Maybe when I'm working, the wait will seem more bearable...or at least, I'll be so busy I won't have that much energy to spare on worrying.

Cheers!

Naturalization:

06 July 2011 - finally mailed of N-400 package. Not sure why I sat on my #### for about a year...

11 July 2011 - NOA and 23 Aug 2011 - Biometrics (rescheduled at my request; initial one Aug 3)

25 Oct 2011 - Interview - Approved

15 Dec 2011 - OATH DATE - US Citizen!!!

Removal of Conditions:

27 Aug 2009 mailed RoC documents and check (GC expires 09/21/09)

28 Aug 2009: NOA receipt date - received letter in mail on Sept 1 2009 (from ESC)

25 Sept 2009: Biometrics appt - quick, easy...done

01 Oct 2009: Green Card approval - Letter of Approval received Oct 5, 2009 from CSC 06 Oct 2009: Perm GC in mail; Resident since 21 Sept 2007

Adjustment of Status:

1 May 2007 Mailed AoS package:

9 May 2007 NoA date [day 6] 15 May NoA for Biometrics [day 12]

6 June Biometrics Exam [day 34]

6 July - EAD CARD production ordered - WOO HOO!!! [day 73]

26 July - EAD card received in mail [day 83] 30 July - Interview notice received in mail [day 87]

21 September - GREEN CARD INTERVIEW -- Approved!!!!! Acceptance letter handed to us - waiting for GC in mail... [day 140]

I see that Orlando takes awhile, but I know there are exceptions - so I hope we're one of them.

One of my students works at some kind of immigration office in Orlando and she was saying how she saw a girl married to a USC receive her GC in 2 months.
