interview scheduling problem from Armenia

Hello VJ family. So I just tried to book my interview and it says "There are no available appointments at this time. Please check back in a few days as the Consular Section will open more appointments". I'm applying from Armenia. 

Does anyone know what's going on??  Thank a lot

I think you can email the embassy that you have complete all the documents required to get an interview date. They will reply with an available date for interview within a day or two.

i have the same issue with the scheduling appointment, I’ve sent them an email but it seems they answer in 3 business days.

Ya..It was the same with me. I got an email from then when I had already scheduled my interview appointment. Just check all the time until you get an available date. It will come soon.

Did you receive your packet 3?? Actually I’ve noticed that that our case has been received by the embassy on June 28, after that I was trying to contact them concerning my interview appointment. The NVC has informed me that I should schedule my appointment

Sorry for the late reply! Yes, I was able to schedule my interview in a week or so, after filling DC-160 and paying the fee.

Hello, we received "ready" status today K1 Armenia on the CEAC website. Did you wait for packet 3 email to schedule your medical and interview? Or can you do this before they send out this packet? Thank you.

From the others here i can only deduce the answer is yes. Here is the P3 from your embassy.  Sometimes they will outline the steps for your interview on the P3. BTW when you get your copy of the P3 from the embassy be sure to compare it to my version.  If yours is newer can you share a copy? Thanks

Thank you for your response. When you say the answer is "yes" did you mean yes we need to wait for packet 3? Or "yes" we can schedule medical and interview? We have all documents prepared from Packet 3 (we obtained this via another person who is going through K1 in Armenia). But do we need to wait for ours? There is very little information about Armenia.

Schedule the interview. Be sure it isn't too close to your record being set to "ready" as some consulates get a electronic version of their case file prior to the paper file. Both have to be there in order for the embassy to conduct the interview otherwise you will be turned away.

 

If ceac.state.gov and your shipment of the file shows that it is in the country then you pretty much have a green light to move forward.
