My fiancé doesn’t have a steady job. The economy is very bad in panama now that the work on the canal is finished. Question is what do I put for his employment? Can I just put general worker? Will this be ok as long as I make enough to support our family? Thanks!

Put down whatever he currently does for work. His employment won't impact the K-1 since he has a sponsor.

1/2/18: EAD + AP approved (no website update), 1/5/18: EAD + AP mailed, 1/8/18: EAD + AP approval notice hardcopies received, 1/10/18: EAD + AP received

9/5/18: Interview scheduled notice, 10/17/18: Interview

10/24/18: Green card produced notice, 10/25/18: Formal approval, 10/31/18: Green card received

Don’t ever lie on any of these immigration forms, it isn’t worth the risk of them accusing him of misrepresentation just to save face.

I would never lie he does odd jobs I just don’t know how to put that down or if I should put unemployed since it isn’t regular work, which we are both hoping he finds something more steady by April when we file.
