Email the embassy, and tell them you need your passport to travel.  They will probably return it until they make a decision on your case.

Its more than 2 years of my interview at islamabad.still on AP.how can i request for my passport?thankx

That seems excessively long.  When was the last time you enquired about the progression of the AP?

as above, contact the embassy and request it back.  When they are finished AP, if the decision is to issue you a visa they will contact you to send it in again.

Embassies don't normally talk to people.  You must EMAIL them and explain that you want to travel.....Maybe they are slow to respond to emails.

What visa did you apply for, that you needed a medical? They wouldn’t ask for a new one unless and until they were ready to issue a visa.
