Hi, My girlfriend is filling in the Fiance visa and we wanted to know how much evidence we need to submit with the application? We met over 2 and a half years ago, I have travelled over to the US and met her family and friends, she then came over to the UK and met my family and friends. I came over to the US again on the 14th September 2017 and extended my stay on the visa waiver {90 days}, leaving the US a day before my visa expired. We had sorted an apartment together and although I am not on the lease paperwork, I contribute to the rent. I am now back in the UK and we are working on the petition. I have plane tickets {for the most recent trip}, visa stamps in passport, photo's from every time we have been together. I also have a copy of my I-94. I know we have to write a cover note to confirm we intend to marry. Copies of previous divorce, birth certificates and passport. Is it recommended to get a letter of support from her parents?, confirming our relationship is genuine? Do we have enough evidence or do I need to provide more?

Your help and advice would be greatly appreciated...

That is all you need for the petition stage. Make sure you have proof of meeting for the past 2 years before filing petition and you’re good. Good luck. Make double copies of everything you send out with your petition, you might need it at the interview.

No letter of support is needed.  UK is not a difficult embassy.  By cover note I will assume you know it should be a letter of intent which is separate of the cover letter.  (See here: http://www.visajourney.com/content/examples/).  5-7 photos is good. Otherwise, it seems you have sufficient relationship evidence.

Once you get your petition sent off, I encourage you to update your profile to include the type of visa filed for and the country.  This will help direct your posts/topics to the correct forum in the future so that those who are similar can respond, especially regarding consulate info as each can vary.

Good Luck!

BC and passport of the beneficiary is not a requirement for the petition.  If the USC submits the passport then BC is not required for the USC either.  Letter of support not required for the petition.  Genuine and ongoing relationship is a consulate stage benchmark not the petition stage.  London has its own protocol and many standard things may not even be required.

YMMV

You have plenty.

Just you.
