Hi everyone!

We've got our co sponsors tax returns, but they are hundreds of pages long. i was wondering how much we actually need to include, up to what point. I don't want to miss anything out!

Thank you :)

All of it.

Another option would be for the joint sponsor (joint sponsor is the proper term when referring to an I-864, not co sponsor) to obtain tax return transcripts and send those instead.

It's possible they have a printout with all worksheets and things that are not part of the actual tax return as it would be filed on paper. If it says Form xxx or Schedule xxx, it is needed. If it says worksheet, comparison, or Thank you for using TurboTax, not needed. You DO need photocopies of their W-2 or 1099 wage statement to go with it.

Or just have them order a free transcript from the IRS and it is complete, condensed, and you don't have to guess.

A tax return transcript OR the complete tax return, including all forms and schedules that would be filed if filing by mail.  You only need to submit the 2016 tax return.  Only information is required from the other two.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...
