Is there any procedure to take after recieving the NOA1?

I received my NOA1 5 months ago exactly, and I am growing much more concerned about whether or not I missed a step or something which is causing my NOA2 to be delayed.

I think that if they had found an issue or needed more evidences, certainly I'd of received another NOA right? Surely, I'd of gotten an RFE right?

So I'm wondering. Is there another step I have to take? My NOA1 has no mention of anything or any kind of instructions and basically just tells me the case is being reviewed. The average wait time for the NOA2 at my processing center is 5 months, and the longest I saw was 6 1/2.

I'm getting quite concerned as is my wife and her family. What can I do?

Hi

Looking to your timeline, I see that your NOA1 is dated July, 8. Currently, Potomac is processing petitions from May and beginning of June. If they continue the same pace, You should hear something After at least 5-6 weeks from now. USCIS wont allow you to make a service request inquiry until you even pass 6 months from the NOA1 date. On average, current wait times for USCIS processing centers is between 6-8 months give or take.

Good luck and hope all is ok
