Sorry B&K,

the deflection occurred when you questioned "where was the slight" as if it wasn't already completely obvious to you and everyone else that what he said was intended as a negative jab at Warren.

Even NB stated of course that was obvious. You were deflecting by trying to pretend that perhaps he meant it as a compliment.

We all know this was a personal attack on Elizabeth Warren, the comments were to show how the collective outrage of anyone is just a joke.  I don't judge my presidents by their words applying political correctness standards.  Trump has his style and it is crass.  When it becomes criminal then put him in jail.

What is interesting is that in the past two years it appears that when Trump labels someone, the labels stick.  Everyone knew who he was talking about.

Well if we all know it was a personal attack, then why did you question that a couple of pages back?

Oh right, you were deflecting. Thanks for making it that much more clear that you knew from the beginning and had no other reason to question whether or not it was.

How a President acts during events honoring Veterans and Native Americans (or both) is more than just "political correctness standards". There is a time and place for politics, and that wasn't it. That isn't political correctness, that is common decency.

At this point I wouldn't put it past him to make a similar joke at someone's funeral. Would that be appropriate to you? Perhaps a joke about McCain being on "death's door" while at a funeral? I mean, it's all just "political correctness standards" I guess?

Where's the personal attack? Wiki is much better than Disney, but it's not the best source of information. That's no more an attack than your constant criticism of people's choice of news sources.

Are you suggesting Wikipedia is wrong in this regard?  I am very familiar with the limitations of Wikipedia.

What are you talking about? He never suggested that.

He said that WIkipedia was a better source than Disney (it is). There are many sources superior to Wikipedia but at least it's a step up.
