hey Matt.. good luck tomorrow

hey thanks.... my wifes kind of nervous, but im not. We have an overwhelming amount of evidence. And if shes still in namecheck, then i will try to get that expedited. Ill be in Iraq in 2 months, and i dont want her to be stuck in FBI namecheck. That would suck.

I think it's perfectly fine to say 'I love him, but...', and I think anyone who insists "NO! You must be perfectly happy at ALL TIMES OR YOU ARE NOT IN LOVE AND DONT DESERVE a visa" needs to share the drugs with the rest of the class.

The visa process is supposed to suck rancid donkey butt, people. It's okay to hate it.

an old and interesting thread

Maybe you missed the headline======RIGHT NOW I AM SICK OF MY FIANCE AND THE VISA, I FEEL TORN

That's the problem. At this point the SO needs all the support, trust and love you can give, not be sick of you and the process. She is SICK of him...................and the process. I agree the process is not right but it is all we have. No one says that you MUST be perfectly happy at ALL TIMES, that's stupid to say. Hate the system, not your SO.

so sweet

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

I felt the same way for a few days just because I was so stressed out trying to do everything on my own without his help. It seemed like he just could not understand how much stress I was under trying to get all this paperwork together on my own and him over in England just waiting it out with nothing he had to do. Then, I realized he's probably stressing out like crazy too. It's a hard process but if you really love each other no amount of time waiting or distance will be able to break you. Take a deep breath and relax. All of this will be worth it I promise you. Good luck.

good piece of advice

Seriously.... Lets make a new account on VisaJourney and beotch about how we are tired of our fiance and the visa. Get a life. Go to the gym, learn to play a violin. Do something other than this.

It is sad to hear this on VJ, Marriage is not a game or anything close to it. If you love him then you should be able to go to the end of the earth with him in all the problems that come with life, marriage. We have our ups and downs . Please dont like the Devil rule you life , turn your problems over to God and trust in him to guide you because everything is not rose's. Hang in there

I LOVE HIM BUT.

It's mean but not gross and abnormal. Are you sure you really want to be with this person? There have been times that I have wanted to say forgetabouit because the USCIS has made me wait forever but not because I didn't love my fiance. If they don't give him the visa,I'll just go back to Panama.

May 7,2007-USCIS received I-129f
July 24,2007-NOA1 was received
April 21,2008-K-1 visa denied.
June 3,2008-waiver filed at US Consalate in Panama
The interview went well, they told him it will take another 6 months for them to adjudicate the waiver
March 3,2009-US Consulate claims they have no record of our December visit, nor Manuel's interview
March 27,2009-Manuel returned to the consulate for another interrogation(because they forgot about December's interview),and they were really rude !
April 3,2009-US Counsalate asks for more court documents that no longer exist !
June 1,2009-Manuel and I go back to the US consalate AGAIN to give them a letter from the court in Colon along with documents I already gave them last year.I was surprised to see they had two thick files for his case !

June 15,2010-They called Manuel in to take his fingerprints again, still no decision on his case!
June 22,2010-WAIVER APPROVED at 5:00pm
July 19,2010-VISA IN MANUELITO'S HAND at 3:15pm!
July 25,2010-Manuelito arrives at 9:35pm at Logan Intn'l Airport,Boston,MA
August 5,2010-FINALLY MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!!
August 23,2010-Filed for AOS at the International Institute of RI $1400!
December 23,2010-Work authorization received.
January 12,2011-RFE
