As of April 22nd, I haven't had a ciggy for THREE months...wooooooooot! I feel as though I"ve reached a milestone now! I hardly ever have cravings anymore either...and don't wheeze when I breathe!! My only real cravings are when I see someone light up on TV...esp. if it's just after we've had supper or something!! :P ...feel SO much better though, and proud ofmyself too!

On top of that...this is my last week of classes...next week are finals and then I graduate May 5th! It's only an Associate Degree for now, but I"m still proud of that too... :P Maybe I'll go on and finish later....something's certainly better than nothing for now! I ended up with a 3.9 GPA and was offered two scholarships for 9,000 a year, but I just can't continue right now...maybe later though!

Anyway....I"m done bragging now. Thanks for all the support for quitting smoking...it really *did* help a lot!!! :) Michelle (F)

My loan is really small (had most of it paid for because I lost my job to overseas labor...Trade Readjustment Allowance) and the loans are deferred until 6 months after I graduate. I did finish my degree...just not a bacholor's or masters yet. :) Thanks Shonnie! :) M.

Hhehehehe...sounds fun but nahhhhhh. Not for just an Associates... :) I'm proud of it, for sure, but it's not THAT bigga deal! My sister is coming up though, from about 3 1/2 hours away, and one of my twin neices (well one of ONE set of twin neices..I have two sets! :P ) and my great neice..her daughter...are coming up too. Craig, Corey and my mom/dad will go, of course....and Mom is taking us all out to eat afterward. I'm sure it will be a fun day.

I do plan to go on one day, but I really can't right now. I got my other schooling paid for, as I said, and we can't really afford for me to finish right now. Plus, the nearest Uni is an hour away, and I don't want to run the car I drive there *every* day and don't want to take all of the courses online. A couple here and there I did, and def. don't mind that...but I like to do mostly on campus.

Right now, I need to get back to work! Revised my resume, got some nice paper, and printed several out at school tonight...and I've already been around a lot of places. Pretty slim pickins right now. :( I did talk to a lady at a carpet store who wanted to hire me even though she was giving interviews that day and had more upcoming...so I must have made a good impression! Thing is, I wasn't even really interview-prepared. I went to pay our cable/Internet bill before school, saw the carpet store across the street, rem. they had advertised and went in! The lady and I got on really well...it's right by the school I go to, and the woman knows both of my Accounting instructors as well! Anyway, it's a small business and it would have been about 60 per. computer/clerical/accounting with Quickbooks and about 40percent sales. I think I'm turning it down though....9-1 EVERY Saturday as well as working M-F (as they have another business she has to be on Saturdays) and NO benefits until a year...and than...NO pd vacation! 10.00 bucks an hour is "ok" for around here....but still..no benefits??? NO WAY. I can do better...trying to get into the hospital.

Anyway..this went on long enough! If you're still awake after reading it...have a good one! I stayed up all night doing homework last night, slept from 8am to 10am today, was gone all day from noon until 9pm, watched a movie cuddled up with Craig, fell asleep at the end, and woke up to do a few things...but, it's off to bed with me soooooooooooooon! Nighty! :) :) :) M.

Oh...yes to the cap/gown/honors stole/cake...no to the rest! ;) M.
