I didn't  recieve any mail until I received the visa by courier .  I am Australian  and everything  is currently  done online there so all my packages etc were sent via email . Address only became important  once I actually  applied for the visa.

Won’t she need to receive a packet in the mail?

Most embassies contact the beneficiary by email. Your timeline says you are going through the Dublin embassy, so e-mail is probably the way they'll do it and you won't have to do anything. She will update her address when she fills out the forms for the interview.

You can visit the Europe Regional or even check the embassy reviews, likely someone has described how they were contacted by the embassy there.
