Is this old version 'interview scheduled' status a glitch? I am a December filer and we have quite a few of them. Did anyone actually had their interview scheduled based on that status?

It most definitely is. I've had it for some time now. No update....

Do you guys think there is a way to take the oath on the same day? I have plan to travel March 1st and I bought my tickets 6 months ago, I wonder if they will help with that, I don't want to travel outside without the citizenship

You can ask at your interview if your FO doesn’t routinely do a same day oath-taking. Maybe you’d get the closest date at the very least.

I wanted to share my experience at my Info Pass Appointment today for checking on my ROC case status and getting the I551 stamped

I had applied for my ROC in January 2017. I went on to apply for my citizenship in November 2017 following the USCIS citizenship application calculator .

I haven't heard back on my ROC yet and I went for my Info Pass Appointment today to get the I 551 stamp. The officer at the Newark Field Office told me that I shouldn't have filed for my citizenship with my ROC pending . She said that because of this my ROC case has been transferred to the National Benefits Center from Vermont Center and it may be delayed by months. I asked her how many months ? she said she doesn't know. She said my citizenship may be approved or denied or kept on hold if my ROC isn't approved by the time my Citizenship interview is scheduled. I was under the impression that the citizenship will over ride the green card case.  Anyways she said even if my citizenship application was approved I should mention to the officer that my ROC is still pending. She said that if I get my citizenship before my ROC that in the future there may be a lot of problems (not sure what kind of problems )

In the end I got the stamp and everything but is any one in the same boat as I am?

That sounds inaccurate in my opinion, because I heard from many sources if you qualify to apply for citizenship under 3year or 5year then you qualify for it, as long as you haven't beed denied any immigration documents.

In my opinion is their fault for not yet have approved ROC'S and be so slow on approving those, does it really takes more than 12 months to approve this? When most of us got our 2 year Green card approved in a matter of 6 months?

Not sure what is going on with USCIS but makes no sense for me that they can approve 2year Green cards in matter of months and take more than a year to approve a Removal of conditions....

@bahamamama234 Exactly. Thank You for your response.   If applying for citizenship with ROC pending is trouble for them then they should either amend their manual to say" hey you cannot apply for N400 before the approval of your ROC. or simply they should've denied my N400 application and returned it back to me saying ROC still pending. I submitted all my documents (expired green card, extension letter, etc). I mean aren't they the same organization don't they have the same system and if something is pending or incomplete shouldn't it flag at their end . the officer said to me that sometimes officers miss details so this is why if I get approved for the citizenship that I still need to mention that my ROC is pending. Or it will create problems in the future.  Anyway I'm glad I got the I 551 stamp at the very least. I'm just upset because so many of us paid so much money for all this only to play the wait game. My chances of winning the lotto look brighter than getting this 10 year green card before the citizenship interview

I'm in same situation as you, and I believe many more of us also are. I applied for ROC (removal of conditions) on November 2016. The last action I remember taking was my biometrics and then I never received anything else in the mail, the online case check status still says ''we received your case and waived the filing fee for your Form CRI-89, Petition to Remove Conditions of Permanent Resident Status Received, Receipt Number WAC. We mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your receipt notice by December 14, 2016, please call Customer Service '' Which was an error message because I never asked for a FEE WAIVER, I paid full amount, I believe fee waiver issue was like an error message sent to many.

I applied for N400 citizenship under 3yr rule on November 2017. I have done biometrics in December and playing waiting game since, my online case check for n400 says will be approved by september 2018.

My 1year extension letter expires in February, I have not gotten a i551 stamp and I am not planning on it either because I believe I am not required to do so since I am waiting on pending n400, someone correct me if I am wrong? Also cause I have a state ID valid until 2024 and a SSN in case I need to change jobs.

I could not see my dad dying from cancer in 2016 because it would require a trip to home country, and my country doesn't accept the extension letter. So I have been waiting now on citizenship to see my mom and brothers, which is been 2 years and half I don't see them. I can't wait to be done with this.
