Montgomery Alabama office is now in the local office to select.

Great. I just updated my timeline to Montgomery office.

Everyone in here should update the timeline, so we know the approximate processing time in Montgomery office.

I updated mine to Montgomery AL... it seems though that there were/are two options. It only allows one on the list for updating my timeline but on the statistics page it allows you to search for Montgomery and Montgomery AL.. It shows mine in the latter and two others in the former..

Good morning.  My wife and I just had an InfoPass appointment in Montgomery this morning.  The officer indicated that N-400's were taking 13-18 months in their office but that they were about to speed up.  They had some prior under-staffing and a large group of applications when they started.

We received our interview notification for Montgomery today, we are scheduled for June 14, 2018.  This is almost exactly 11 months after filing the N-400 electronically.  When we had our InfoPass appointment in Montgomery a few weeks ago, they said they were about to speed up, it looks like it is happening.

Are you still waiting? Something is wrong if you are. How does somebody with a filing date well after you get an interview this coming June?

we are still waiting, USCIS does not go by your case number, they go by the order they receive the case. I did a 100 case number search starting with 50 numbers below what ours is, and out of the 100 there was only one number that had not had a interview or oath, guess who's number that was?

Mine is a K1 AOS - I wonder if somehow that makes a difference as the interviews are slightly different... Perhaps it is time to contact your congressperson... I put in a SR a week ago and I seriously wonder whether that kicked them up the behind somewhat... I could be wrong but we will never know now. Your congressperson will carry some weight at least. I can’t even begin to imagine how frustrated you are. Have you tried looking on this site?

https://my.uscis.gov/account/applicant

Mine stated on the site above that my interview was ready to be scheduled back in August 2017. On my case tracker it still said ‘fingerprint fee received’ since May 18th 2017.. 🙄 just seeing the August update really helped. I hope yours has a similar update and gives you some kind of hope.
