so i'm a girl , married to a green card holder , and we're preparing to start the process so i can join him inshAllah

i'm kind of lost and here are some questions i want them to be answered ASAP please

1- regarding papers only ( NOT the forms and  evidence of credibility of marriage ) ; acte de marriage /de naissance / casier judiciaire /et photocopie du passport ( 1ere page d'information)

et photos 5/5  ;;;; is that all i need ?????

2- no need for authentification in the ministry  or something ????

3- where do i find a good translator in Algiers please ????

4- from your own experiences , Do they require the translation to be done in Algeria and not in usa ? or it's the same

thank you for your help

if your husband knows of a translatori  in the US who can certify your documents, then it is ok

they will not accept him to translate himself

Marriage has to be from Ministry and should have raised stamp of the office

send about 25 photos (include some with him and your family) to show your family approves of him

at this time the ID page of the passport

they may later ask for all pages to show countried visited (usually not for women)

here is a list of translators in Algeria

thank you so much Brother , but do you mean he can translate my documents but not his ?

you sure about the ministry thing ??

oh and also no حسن سيرة ou "record de police " for now ?

If your husband is fluent in both English and the language(s) used in your documents he can translate them himself

NOTE whoever does translate the documents regardless of if it is a paid translator or your husband you need to ensure all translations also have the necessary translation statement

you will not need police records until the NVC state, they are not required for the initial petition

yes you need to provide a copy of your marriage certificate both in whatever the native language used is as well as English translation

same with your birth certificate and passport copy

you can self translate documents as long as the appropriate translation certification is provided
