Thanks much!!!

Funny... my father in law said when its born, we are supposed to flip it over and make sure it has "Made in Australia" stamped on its #######. :lol:

February 13, 2006:VISA APPROVED!!!!

November 18, 2006: Mia Grace is born

May 30, 2008: 10 year Greencard approved

2/7/06 I-130 rcvd by NSC, according to FedEx

2/23/06 Discovered DCF option

2/25/06 Sent rqst for Packet to Sydney consulate

2/27/06 I-797C rcvd = rejected due to insufficient funds

2/27/06 Syd Cons. responded

3/2/06 Packet 3 Received

3/6/06 Police check filed

3/9/06 X-Ray completed/Physical completed/ Vaccination & bloodwork started

3/12/06 US 2005 taxes done: Refund pays for the plane ticket!!

3/14/06 DS-230 mailed

3/16/06 I-864 notarized

3/20/06 Medical update = No Vaccines Needed

3/22/06 Police Report Received

3/26/06 Flight to Sydney

3/30/06 I-130 & I-864 Approved!

4/11/06 Visa Interview Scheduled

And just as a sidenote, im trying to change my name on everything to my married name... WHAT A PAIN IN THE #######!!!

Old post I know, but yeah, my wife hasn't changed hers yet cos of that. My parents actually changed my surname spelling yeeeears ago but only did it on half my records so it was a royal pain in the ####### and it took me til recently to have everything the same spelling. :wacko: Well except my Medicare card is still the old spelling. Darn. And my library card.

And CONGRATS on the bebe.

Sept 2005 engaged in USA, Dec 2005 married in Australia ;)

Apr 2006 completed DCF in Sydney, May 2006 emigrated to USA, Aug 2006 started new job

Jul 2007 finally had wedding, Dec 2007 moved into our first house

Jun 2008 our son is born, now just waiting for I-751...

I didn't think you had forgotten about me :) Thursday at 1:45 my journey begins. I've pretty much got everything in order. JUST went to the bank TODAY to get my letter from them, which Iw asn't sure if I needed it or not, so i'm playing it safe and getting it. Other than that I HOPE everything else is in order. I'm super nervous...

I'm worried he hasn't kept the letter to tell us what order to take everything in - he's forgettful sometimes. will definitely keep you posted

have I mentioned I love you guys?

So it's my last full day at work and time is CRAWLING by.

I finally realized I DO have to have a bank letter I guess? I went monday and tehy SWEAR i'll have it to pick up on Thurs but I'm not optimisitic. Dad said if it's not ready he'd go pick it up and fax it to us in Oz so it's ok.

we're ready. I'm packing tonight. :) I'm ready to GO GO GO

Finally finished with immigration in 2012!

Safe in Geelong now - leave for Sydney tomorow :) All forms are in order, photocopied, and ready to go - right now we are sorting through evidence...

His parents have gotten a kick out of some of our pics from five years ago - we both look sooo much yonger hehehe.

Anyway will let ya know as soon as anything happens :)
