Return flight needed?

Hello.

Ill be going back to the Philippines this October with my son for a 7~10 weeks vacation.My question is, since I'm still under CR1 visa do I need to show proof of return flight from Manila to here in the US to show that I'm not abandoning my residency?I'm still not sure where are we going to be assign yet that's why I'm thinking of staying in the PH until my husband get his orders or maybe until he graduates on AIT this December.thank you.

No, you do not need to show proof of your return flight. 

 

You can stay until December if you wish to, just keep in mind that when you apply for Removal of Conditions/Citizenship you must prove that you haven't been out of the country for more than 6 months/trip.

Once my husband graduate from AIT there's a big possibility that were going to be assign overseas maybe in Korea and if that happens, what were planning is ill just go straight to Korea from the Philippines is that going to be fine or I need to go back here in the US first? Assigned overseas? Is your husband military or works for the government?

 

If your husband is military give this a read. It explains everything about physical presence requirements for military spouses.

Basically says that if you have permission to be stationed with your husband, that time spent abroad also counts as time spent in the US.
