hello everyone.... i have a small confusion,i don't know i just might be restless because the visa process is so long and i cant wait for me and my husband to be together, but i submitted all my documents to NVC and they received about 2 weeks ago, i also submitted d260 and paid all my fees, but i have not received any email from NVC saying that they had received my affidavit of support document. Is NVC supposed to sent me those email or they will just sent us email if something is missing on my application or when the visa is approved..should i just  call them and ask if they receive my mail or should i just wait ??

You will not hear from them until :

1.  You get a checklist for missing documents/issues   or

2.  You get case complete in 2 or 3 months.

It is a very long and stressful waiting period.....good luck.

You can call them preferably late night (after 7:00 PM EST) and get your scan date and verified that they have received all your documents . Waiting time start after scan date
