I've tried to look for other posts with a similar question but it seems situations are always slightly different. I hope people don't mind me starting a new topic for my question 

My wife she's not an  employee  she is sub contractor ( self employed )  . she can't prove  this paper required ( 6- Evidence of omployer in the united states of source of income )

Any advice would be so much appreciated. :help: Thank you

I read some articles outside visajourney and they say my wife need to fill out  1099 form do you have any idea ?

The 1099 is issued by the person who is paying her.  A company can not deduct her pay from their taxes without it.  Once they issue it, she is responsible for including it as income.  Some companies, who high sub contractors year round wait until the end of the year and total up the pay, others who just do a job now and then may get a 1099 from the payer after the job is complete.  If she never got one, she should ask for them to give her a 1099.
