So after I received my IR-1 visa I felt there was something wrong with my visa the A-number (Registration number), so I called the embassy and asked them about it, they asked me for my IV case number, then they asked me to say the A-number (registration number) on my visa, i said it then they said it was %100 correct.

I wasn't sure about that so I went to the USCIS website and entered the IV case number and the A-number and the website showed that the A-number and the IV-number are correct. then today morning I called the embassy again and asked them again about the number, and they told me it was %100 correct and there's nothing wrong with my visa. so I asked my wife to call the USCIS and the lady who answered said that the number on my visa is correct.

Although after all of that I'm still worried about it. I don't know why I have this feeling...

I don't get why you think the A# is wrong, when everyone says it's right. The info you've given makes you sound paranoid on this subject. Don't stress.

ok when the embassy says it's correct twice and when paying for the immigrant fee the A-number on the visa works, and the USCIS says the one on the visa is the right one and i keep saying i'm worried. i know i sound paranoid even my wife says that, but i don't know why i have this feeling, even before the interview i had the feeling that i was going to a long process of AP but that didn't happen. My wife calls my crazy for having this feeling. Maybe it's because I'm moving and this is my first time to travel alone. :o

You are probably just stressing yourself out. If the A-number doesn't match anywhere, I'd be worried. But the embassy and USCIS are telling you it's right. Did the A-number not match your USCIS notice or something?

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

even though it doesn't match the approval notice, but it works everywhere. this is so weird. and what makes it weirder that the embassy is %100 sure it's correct and the USCIS is also sure it's correct, their website (paying immigrant fee and Verify Your Identity section) says the A-number on the visa is %100 correct.

That IS weird. If that's what on their record, then make sure you're using that A-number till you no longer need it.

The one that they said is correct :)

For preventive measure, you can consider e-mailing USCIS and the embassy to note the discrepancy and that you have tried to get it rectified but was told the A-number on the visa is correct. This is not a complaint but just so it is on the record in case of any dispute in the future. Better to have proof that you tried to get it rectified than not because I foresee finger pointing if something goes wrong. But again, this is just me, you don't necessarily need to accept this suggestion.

Now, breathe and relax. Start packing your stuff and get other things sorted to get ready for your flight out to be with your wife. This should be a joyous occasion!

you know the weird thing is that the USCIS website accepted the A-number that's on the visa. this is weird. if the A number on the visa was wrong I don't think the uscis would accept it, because they sure have it in their database.

I doubt they'd send you home. You got a valid visa. This is why I'd send the said e-mail to keep as record. Please stop stressing. You'll have an anxiety attack before you even get to the US.

And like I said, use the number they said is correct since the system accepted it just fine.
