Concurrent filing I 130 with I 485 parents (merged)

Hi everyone,

 

I am preparing the documents to file for my parents green cards. I will be filing I-130 and I 485 together as they are in the US now. I prepared G 325 A forms for both of my and myself as a petitioner, however, my friend told me that with the current forms  G 325 is no longer required. I checked in the instructions for I 485 and it does sound like G 325 is no longer required but wanted to confirm with you once again.

 

My second question related to i 864 forms. I have downloaded the tax transcripts from irs website. Should I send my W2s with the transcripts ? Also, should I sent pay stubs for the past 6 months?

Definitely don't need the G-325A anymore.

 

The tax transcripts should suffice as it would cover all the bases. No harm including other available documents such as your paystubs if you want to or have available

Hi!

 

I love this forum and I'm thankfull for the great feedback I get. I had a question for support to supply with I 864. I downloaded tax transcripts for 2014, 2015 and 2016 and wage and income statements too. I also have copy of tax return from turbotax for 2016 and w2 for 2016, but cant seem to locate those for 2014 and 2015. Will taz transcripts suffice?

also I plan to submit paystub for 6 months and a printout of my compensation statement.

 

Next question: As far as I understand I need to file separate i 864 for my mother and for my father. Do I mention anything about them in their i 864, like anything about ky dad in my mom's i864?

We are in the same path, i have transcripts for 2014,2015 and 2016. I also have copy of tax return from turbotax for 2016 and w2 for 2016 only. They just really need 2016 taxes papers. And yes you have to submit a different i-864 for both of them. I have enough income for 6 people so i completed an i-864ez for my husband and one for my mother.

not sure (just anywhere ) is accepted / i could be wrong but too easy to fake these

try IRS and getting offical transcripts / just walk into any IRS office, give your ID and SS card and ask for them

The I-864ez is shorter than the regular I-864. you can find it in the uscis website or download it from google chrome. Yes I will submit my transcripts for 2014,2015 and 2016 and my w2 and tax return for 2016 only. I already have my husband case number and unlocked payments, I am just waiting for nvc to assign a case number to my mom. I want to work my 2 cases together to have the interviw the same day

I requested my transcripts from IRS website and they sent them to me to my home.

I went to irs.gov and created a profile and was able to download these files. Here is the link https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript You can get either online transcript or get it via mail.

Hi guys,

 

I am doing concurrent filing of I 130 and i 485 for my parents. Can I sign both as interpreter and as preparer ?

 

Also for form 1145, do I fill out one under my name for I 130 and one for each of my parents for I 485 ?

Do you have any tips for assembling application for concurrent filing of I 130 with I 485 for parents ? I am also including I 131 and I 765 with the their application.

You can send it all in the same envelope.  Just make sure to separate each application and their respective documents with a rubber band, as USCIS suggests in their website.

Oh---and write separate checks with the memo part filled out with the application # and name of applicant...easy for you to keep track of so you know what reached whom, and when.

 

Don't make the mistake some people do and combine all the payments into one huge check.  That gets confusing for the person who's processing it all.
