i know i should have my own funds and should have a job so what's the minimum of it i should have?

would a year be enough?

In regards to a tourism visa you will need to prove ties back to your country. Having been in a job for longer obviously would help prove that but as long as you have a stable job with proof of return to that job it'll help. Also have some kind of lease for an apartment or house would help.

You need to prove that you will return to your country after your visit and part of the proof is not only verbal but on paper.

What if I had a job for 1 year with average salary?

It's not only about having a job for a specific period of time. There many other things that are looked at.

Do you own property?

Have you traveled to other countries?

Are you married with children?

What is your age?

Are you a student?

Is the job you have high skilled?

Do you have family in the US?

Have you previously applied for other visas in the pass?

Do you have a criminal history?

Those are example questions on what could be considered in deciding if you should receive a tourist visa.

Lots of people visit the US who have no job, Students for example.
