K-1 fiancé visa help

I am new to this whole process of applying for the K-1 visa. My fiancé lives in South Africa and is wanting to come home to me. I have no idea where to even begin, help please!!!!

Use the guides with caution. There is a new I-129F form on USCIS website so use that. G-325A is no longer required as it has been incorporated into the I-129F. Current filing fee is $535.

Ok so question, it says I need passport photos of both of us. Is this true or has this changed?

I suggest you look at https://www.uscis.gov/system/files_force/files/form/i-129finstr.pdf for the most up-to-date instructions on filling out the form. It mentions everything you'll need. Use the guides here as a reference only.

 

You need to submit one color US-style passport photo for the both of you. The American style is 2 inches by 2 inches and some countries have different sized passport photos, so be sure your fiance asks to get the American sized ones done in case it's different.

 

You need to print the name of the person in the photo on the back of each one. They should be taken within 30 days of your application.
