Yours actually say " We will prepare for your case for officer review" ? Mine doesnt say that. It just says transferred to local office and asks me to notify them if I moved.

Yes.  It says that in the lower R section below the large heading saying the case was transferred to the local office.

Dear folks, you have missed the point.

There is a computer glitch  in the  USCIS system.

You can put in any number (before you  log into your own account), and you will see the message " . . . case  received at local office."

Those who just filed in February 2018 can put in their first receipt number and get the same message.

So it appears that ALL pending I-751 cases to date have been moved.  I don't think you can put any random number in, it has to be an official case number, BUT all cases it appear to have been transferred, no matter when filed.  Which likely just means that they are moving all I-751 petitions to local offices to free up the service centers.  So our cases will either take the same amount of time OR they could be quicker as local offices are only dealing with local petitions, meaning hopefully they will get through them quicker, in date order.

It might not be a glitch. One of the earlier posts mentioned cases (March-June 2017) got approved 2 days after this message showed up.

That would be nice.... I mean approval :)

If you check the VJ timeline for processing, some cases that were filed in March 2017 were approved this month, before the transfer.  It does say that if cases are transferred it does not slow down the process.  I know VSC was approving before CSC filers.  So not sure if the March filer getting a case transferred made a difference, they may have already been 2 days away from approval....

I think it's all guess work at the moment anyway!

It's VSC March 2017 filers are getting approved. They are ahead of CSV anyway. So yeah, it's all guessing work. lol

You are still not understanding . . . it's a computer glitch.

When I said you can put in any number I meant, of course, any valid number.

I put in my own valid number and guess what, it said my file transferred to local office on that very day !!!

People who applied Feb 2018 and put in their number, and got message their file was transferred on that very day that they checked.

Those who have not checked their own first reference number, can put it in today, and be assured they will get message that their file was transferred today.   If they wait until next week to check their number for first time, the message will say their file was transferred that very day.
