Dear all,

I know this has been asked so many times. But I would like to hear from you guys what you would do or what you did:

My fiancé and I have been communicating almost entirely via FB messenger and making calls via FB messenger or Facetime.

Facetime doesn't offer a log or a summary of all the calls made - right? What did you guys do? We unfortunately never used Skype.

As for FB messenger, there is no way to download all the copies from the two of us: FB only offers a back-up version that has all the messages in one file. Going through the messages individually causes my FB messenger to crash after a while as we have thousands of messages. I could now manage to copy and paste the last six months but not the last 18 months.

What did you guys provide evidence wise?

I though that I could select relevant messages out of those last six months. I also figured I could add the emails whenever he was under way and couldn't use FB messenger.

But is this enough? It doesn't show the beginning of our relationship nor the middle?

I appreciate your help!

Hi R&OC,

Only the recent calls made will show up on your Calls/FaceTime apps.

However, thanks to Google, I managed to get a summary of FaceTime calls made from late 2014 to early 2017 using an external software. It's called iExplorer.  Link for downloading, but at your own risk. http://download.cnet.com/iExplorer/3000-2141_4-10969335.html

The software will use your old backups to retrieve your call history.  Do you store your backups on iCloud or on your PC/laptop?

Good luck.

Do you have facebook messenger app on your phone? If so, why don't you screenshot a few of the messages and print those. That's what I did. If you only have it on your computer, you should be able to take a snap shot of the screen and print that as well. Either/or hope it works out. If you haven't deleted your call logs, the facetime call log will show too and you can screenshot those as well. Good luck!
