My husband's n-400 packet wasn't nearly as big as our original i-130 packet or his removal of conditions. We didn't send pictures or affidavits but we did send evidence of co-mingling of assets such as joint bank account, health and homeowners insurance, mortgage, cell phone, joint car payments ect..We only sent evidence from the date of his removal of conditions up until the date we sent the n-400. Good luck!

Our packet wasn't as big either - we included:

  • Copies of Tax Return transcripts for the last 3 years
  • An Account Balance Summary from Chase Bank showing our joint account
  • Copies of driver's licences showing same address
  • Copies of lease agreements for last 3 years showing we live at the same apartment
  • Copy of Car Title showing both of our names as owners
  • Copies of Benefits Summaries showing my husband as beneficiary of life insurance

We had most of these photocopies (or scanned copies) from the previous years of when we sent them in for AOS or ROC, so we didn't need to do a lot of digging.

We didn't send in any pictures or really any "new" evidence. For ROC, we sent in a ton of credit card statements, etc.,but we didn't do it this time....

At this point, focus on quality rather than quantity. Joint tax returns, joint car title, joint lease/mortgage, joint health insurance are usually the type of evidence that weigh much more than pictures, affidavits and a million of utility bills.
