AOS Assemble

Hi guys again! Hope everybody is fine!

 

Well Im gonna send my AOS package this week right now I'm assembling the forms and everything but I'm a little bit confuse with how everything needs to be assembled. Like the forms needs to be apart of the photos, passport copies, birth certificate, etc or every form has to be with exact things? I dont know and now this is driving me crazy. Like in the form G325A I'm attaching all the BIO info like passport photos, passport copies, birth certificate and etc. But when I look online people put this informations on the I-130 or in the I-485 so now I'm more confused right now guys.

 

I'll appreciate if you guys can help me with that.

you have to treat each form with the supporting documents as its own entity, even if you send them all in one envelope. So you can't just put all 4 photocopies of your passport together, but one with the i-130, one with the i-485, one with the i-765, etc. Some petitions (especially 765 / 131) go to different locations, and they're not about to rummage through your file to find/photocopy everything.

Actually some of the instructions say you specifically don't need to send double of photocopies required by more than one form. I sent only one of passport copy one of i-94 etc. and I was fine and they did copy it.

 

OP, I put my passport photos with the g-325 as well, but that form in itself is a supplement to other forms. I simply separated it into forms regarding applicant:

"i-485, i-765 and i-131 plus supplements" and forms regarding sponsor;

"i-864 plus supplements"

 

for simplicity... but how you want to organize it is up to you... everyone does it a bit differently

Oh - I would put the "i-130 petition plus supplements" separately, I missed that since I was a K1

I am filing forms for AOS, especially form I-131 and according to its instruction, the form is supposed to have 2D barcode which will ensure the data I provide is accurately entered into USCIS system. But when I finish and print out for signature, the form has no barcode as pictures azblk showed above. Can anyone help to advise? Thank you.

You can't open it in your web browser. You have to

1. Save the file

2. Open the program (Typically Adobe Reader)

3. Open the file using the menu - open inside Adobe.

In that order.

(Or have the settings changed in your computer so pdf files don't open in the web  browser)

omg  I do not know about that. Does it mean I am required to prepare all forms again with PDF file?

I dont think the forms have a 2D bar code anymore.  The advantage of using ADOBE or another pdf filler is you can save a digital copy and if you change something or make a mistake you just have to change one thing and reprint.
