As reported by KING-5, a Washington TV station:

“I have been told by the Chief of Police it’s not safe for me to be on campus,” said [Evergreen State College professor Bret] Weinstein, who held his Thursday class in a downtown Olympia[, Wash.,] park.

An administrator confirmed the police department advised Weinstein it “might be best to stay off campus for a day or so.”

Demonstrations involving as many as 200 students filled classrooms and the President’s office on campus on Tuesday and Wednesday. Protesters are upset over what they believe are racist policies at the college, and some called for Weinstein to resign.

Earlier this school year Weinstein raised concerns about proposed policy changes, including one that would have race play a larger role in the hiring process.

What is so funny? Educated people do tend to have a liberal bias, but that's what you have a right wing ideology that eschews education that doesn't have an emediate financial pay off.

I know a lot of very educated people that are far from liberal. Of course the MDL will say they are idiots for taking classes and getting degrees that actually amount to something, but hey, without them you wouldn't have a tax base.

The whole point of post-secondary (and even secondary) education is to prepare people for real world, and coddling people like they're five years old is the opposite of this. Hence why so many snowflakes need cry-ins and snuggy sleepovers to deal with a real world situation like someone you vote for not getting elected.

I know a lot of very educated rich liberal business owners. The idea that liberals are mainly takers and conservatives are mainly makers seems to be rooted in conservative ideology, and definitely part of the reason why the likes of Donald Trump is able to be president. A president who doesn't read, is not very curious and has little empathy for anyone is a very scary thing.

I think Donald Trump was elected president because he and his team had a better strategy then the other side.  That along with the fact that people are getting fed up with the liberal (I have a hard time calling them that as the liberals I grew up with are nothing like the socialist liberals of today) bias in the media.  I know, there is no bias of course as these are all educated people and they wouldn't stoop to being agenda driven.  Personally, I could care less which party controls the WH or the Congress as long as they reduce the size of the Federal government, cut taxes, and actually secure the borders properly.  Do I think President Trump will do that, probably not based on the ingrained elitist leadership mentality we have on both sides in Washington, but Trump had a better chance than Hillary who is part of the elitist leadership.

What strategy was that exactly? Tell as many bare face lies as humanly possible, all while casting himself as an outsider, a billionaire outsider no less.

No ? Conservatives are nothing like conservatives of yesteryear either. That's still no good reason to elect a sociopath to the White House. I wanted Bernie Sanders to win, failing that Hillary Clinton, who I was not exactly trilled with the prospect of her winning, but dear God, at least she wouldn't be a complete basket case, like Donald Trump. His main success in life, prior to becoming President, was that he was able to increase his wealth on the back of being famous. Of course, it remains to be seen if he really is as wealthy as he makes out.

How come cutting back on the military budget is never mentioned, or actually reforming government in a way that it works for everyone, and not just the likes of Donald Trump?

Are the borders not secure? Is Mexico planning to invade or something? You want to stop people risking all to come from countries even crappier than the US, then do what every other country does. Make it impossible for companies or people to employ people without the correct permits.

That's a great opinion, especially the borders and government reform ones.. but you forget a few things:

- Democrats undermined existing law, had no intention on going after companies that employ people illegally.. even though that's a minimal issue, the big issue is taking care of the border and overstays.

- Trump was elected, particularly on the premise of changing the government as he preached during his campaigns. So no, not for everyone.

I was thinking of the strategy of focusing on the electoral college which is the process we use to elect a president.  Both Trump and Hillary littered the campaign trail with bald face lies, but how do you consider Trump to not be an outsider?

We have no idea how Hillary would have been in the WH, so any comparison is just opinion and conjecture.  Personally, I could care less about his wealth, whatever he has or doesn't have is his own.

Because the Federal Government's first and largest responsibility is to protect the country.

We have had a large amount of illegal immigrants come to this country under the last administration with no intention to actually immigrate.  I don't call that secure.  I am all for requiring employers verify the immigration status of their employees, and maybe we will get there under Trump.

The fact that we have career politicians on both sides is really the issue, along with the influence of the national political parties.  Trump is not a true conservative or a Republican, but he is not stupid, he knew his only chance of winning would be to be at the top of one of our two major political parties.  The same could be said of Bernie Sanders who is not really a Democrat, but is an elitist career politician, so in that I agree with you, having him in the WH would just be exchanging one elitist for another.
