No one here will honestly tell you when it will "be fine" to do a drug test to try to "beat" the system.

 

The facts are as you will have to do the drug test, it is not guarantee you'll be "clean" by 3-4 months, it can still show up perhaps.

 

As to the question about previous drug history, you also must answer yes. Always be honest.

 

Think what happens if you tried saying "No" to previous drug use, and you failed the drug testing? 

 

Just do the drug test, be honest about previous use.

OP: It doesn't matter if you test positive. You must admit to using drugs on the forms you fill out, and the doctor will also discuss and ask about your drug use history. That alone will cause you to fail the medical. Are you actively in drug treatment, are you making an effort to show with professional help that you are clean? With your history of drug use, with something as heavy as cocaine, you will not be getting a visa. This is not DIY territory. Consider an attorney.

This person obviously has no intentions of being honest. Let's face it, honestly speaking, the chances of a known drug user getting into the US is just about 0. You're inadmissible if you confess to drug use and I don't believe there's a waiver for that. 

 

I'm not going to give you advice on how to go about beating the system (not that I know of a way) but it sounds like you're still using knowing that there's a chance it might be detected in your system...not a smart move. Even if you happen to beat the system and make it to the US, this habit could send you back quick.
