Just received the NOA2 in the mail (approved!!) however the uscis case status has not updated online at all. Is this typical, or is there need for concern?

I've read many horror stories here of people getting the approval in the mail and then reading that it was denied online sometime after, that I wonder what others have experienced when they received their NOA2.

Let me know! :)

Double check the case numbers names and birthdates on your Noa2.  Call the uscis and talk to a tier2.  Then if all is okay, celebrate!

Congrats!

From NOA2 approval to our case being received to the NVC and getting our NVC MTL#, it took about 4 weeks.

Once your case reaches the NVC stage, the rest of the process happens really fast.  Fortunately for Canadian K1 Visa petitioners, everything after the NVC stage is done online.

Good luck the rest of the way!
