Hello everyone, so I just started the CR1 process for my husband this past week, and have a friend who started back in Dec.2016 she just recently got a letter of RFE and I know that puts a hold on your application until that form is filled out, she in her late 30s and said she thinks it has to do with her age, is there any red flags that they look at before they issue this?

Well her age wouldn't cause an RFE. you just need to wait until you get the reason for it. Try not to stress too much.

RFE's are caused by missing or incomplete documents submitted with the i130 petition. Red flags (like age, religion, length of relationship etc) are addressed at the consulate stage.

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

***** The K3 visa is obsolete and practically impossible to get, as it is usually administratively closed to NVC stage.  Thus, I am moving this thread to the CR-1 spousal visa forum ******
