Casier judiciaire (court report) - how can my Moroccan husband get it, lives in Spain

My husband and I are trying to figure out how to get the (apparently) required court report from Morocco.

He lives in Spain and we would like to get it online or via mail, rather than he or his family getting it in person.

We went to these websites:

http://www.justice.gov.ma/  

and

http://casierjudiciaire.justice.gov.ma/Accueil.aspx?culture=en-US  He and his sister both tried to use this site unsuccessfully. Not sure what went wrong.

and we're still confused.

Many discussions combine and/or confuse the police record and the court report in their directions. Can anyone give us a straight answer and a source?

Did you try going to the Moroccan Embassy here in Spain and asking for such a thing? I was living in another country and I had to ask for the police papers showing I had no background and I had to go to their Embassy in order to ask for it. They sent me the papers via mail.

Police records show if you have had any misconduct.  These certificates usually reflect all police activity as related to the applicant including traffic violations, misdemeanors, home visits, etc.  Police records are required from every country in which the applicant has lived for over a year after the age of 16.

 

Court records records are required if the applicant has ever been convicted of a crime.

 

Usually, these records can be sent via email but they would require valid proof of identification.  In some countries, you may have to mail them photos as well.  

 

For additional information, select Morocco from the dropdown for "Document" finder which should provide additional information on where and how to obtain these documents:

Non-resident Moroccan citizens may request a Fiche Anthropometrique by writing directly to the Direction General de la Surete Nationale, Fichier Central de L'Anthropometrie, Rabat. The number and date of issue of the new format Carte Nationale must be included in the request. The fiche Anthropometrique is delivered only to bearers of the new format Carte Nationale.

I am encouraging him to call Almeria and ask about that. When he was trying to get the police record I believe he was told that he needed to get it from the office in Morocco. So his sister went to Rabat, I believe, like 2 times because they had to order it etc etc and it was a huge process and she had to get out of work to do it. 

I believe that he could've gotten it by mail or email but the information is just not very clear, and like I said there seems to be some problem with the website.

Even going to Almeria would be better than what his family went through.

Hopefully getting this court record will be easier.

Btw for anyone who is wondering, apparently you still need a court record from Morocco even if your police record is clean.

It is - I saw it and sent it to the NVC.

This is such a drag.

This information is exactly why we only sent the fiche anthropometrique/police report/certificate...

And this is why we received a checklist. You'd think that it would be logical that if your police certificate is clean you wouldn't need a court report, no? That's what we thought too.

You can start a thread and title it accordingly which other Moroccans can google  

 

i guess some countries require more re more documentation than others. A lot of people have issues with their birth certificates and marriage certificates as well since specific versions are required for certain countries.

 

whole process is tedious and long but keep your head up, you're almost there!  If you get a scan date in may, feel free to join the thread in my signature and fill out the form if you'd like to be added to the scan date to case complete spreadsheet.  We're all waiting together and hoping it'll keep us updated on when case completes start coming through

Ah, thanks. I hadn't looked at the Moroccan portal again after posting.

So, I guess your husband went to the offices, I mean, did this in person, to get his 2 documents. 

One question I have is which office my husband would contact to get the court document. I need a phone number for that office to find out what other methods (email, snail mail) he can use to get the document. And the exact address for the office!!

All the info I have seen is vague and convoluted.

you have to appear in person in Morocco to get these documetns

one is actually a driving record and any fines or convictions

the other is criminal

I believe since a brother in law had to return from France to get these from Morocco and the family could not do it for him , the only way is for him to return to his home city and apply in person
