My bio was 06/01/2017

12 days and nothing ....

We heard that bio takes as minimum 14 days, but I think this not true...coz some people in line for interview same day of fingerprint...:bonk:

@rubya I am in the same boat as you.  Except I did my bio on May 31st.  Try not to worry.  It's nothing to do with luck.

If you read through older monthly threads you'll see that it looks like cases are batched and given to different officers etc to work on.  But sometimes they have other things to work on, take days off, get held up with other cases, or just a HUGE backlog to process.  It's not luck, it's just one of those things.  I looked up probably 50 cases either side of mine on the USCIS website and they were all "inline for interview" except mine, with the exception of maybe 3 that had been returned.  It's not just you, sometimes these things happen.

There are many points in the process where cases can get held up, this is just one of them.  There are some cases that are getting interview dates after being inline for an interview for almost a year.  Hang in there or'll you will drive yourself crazy!

You're basically right.  Now that im on that stage for "IN-LINE FOR INTERVIEW", I never know when will i get the physical mail for the exact date of interview. Its a que sera sera thing nothing to freak about @rubya.  The only good thing about now is that we are not on a conditional visa after the 1-751 processed we went through. I'm just grateful I am not filing through the St Paul, MN office, they seem to be the absolute worst for delays consistently.  Ooof.

You right lovelyalex, it's nothing to do with luck,  my first process took 4 months ( was very fast) , but the second process remove conditional was very slow ( took 12 months):)) I received my second gc on may 9,2017 and I sended N-400 on may 22, so don't worry about this @rubia,  we need to wait calmly 😜🙏🏻

We all want to become US Citizens for several reasons but please don't worry too much, you will have it.

I have seen some people are over worried. There are ton of people who also apply for Naturalization and do not know this website. They applied it, back to work, wait for it, do not count everyday like some people here.

Guys please just move on, stop counting day by day and eventually you will have it in hands.

Some of the VJers notice that the mailing address has exchanged. Don't worry about it. Just follow the instruction and you will be fine.

Agree with everything said here . Of course we would all love just to be done but it's only the beginning . Some will get through faster than others but I just feel lucky to be able to apply and when it happens to be a US Citizen. This is the last hurdle. We're closer than it sometimes feels and remember that.

I'm also really excited to see people move to in line. Our month seems to be moving pretty quick compared to other months I've followed
