NVC Filers - May 2017

I am just wondering if you guys can share the series of questions asked for an immigrant visa - parents?

I am just curious and we would like to prepare better for the interview.

From what I've read, the questions all depend on your embassy. There is another part of the forum dedicated to the different embassy's. There are also embassy's listed in the wiki with reviews.

I am in the process of filling out the affidavit forms. I was told by NVC that I have to fill out 2 separate forms, One for my Husband and one for his son since I have 2 separate cases.  The confusing part is the size of the household.

 

On my Husbands Affidavit I have a total of 3 (my husband which I am sponsering, myself and my mom which is my dependant).  Since it says that I cannot count the same person twice I left the married box blank.

 

On his son's Affidavit, I am getting a total of 4 since on his I have checked the married box.  Does this sound correct or should I leave the married box blank on the son's affidavit?

Looks like finally, nvc is moving through the filing. I got  an email from them saying my case was completed on May 8th after waiting for almost 9.5 weeks!

2-3 days for some, mine took a week, you are so close, best of wishes  start calling twice a day, morning between EST7:00-7:30am and EST 11:30PM-12:00AM

Case complete 5th May. One checklist item to be fixed but it will not affect the processing/scheduling of interview date and i should expect to receive email confirmation of the case complete within a week of the 5th.

Hello I have a question when the nvc reviews your case and a signature is missing and they tell me that I will get an email but since a week ago and I have not reached anything how long it takes to send it ?

hello Got email from NVC overnight which included checklist requirement. It's basically a box under Part 4 of I864 that we either left blank or wrote in wrong number. Asks for your household size and relates to tax returns. Email says I can bring new form to the interview. Just waiting now on them to inform me of that step!

it means they received a checklist and NVC acknowledge what they sent that is on the checklist

Today I got a CC. Finally... after 9 weeks and 6 days (2nd scan date was 3/2/2017 due to a checklist - 1st scan date was back in 12/12/2016). Attached are my screenshots and confirmed by calling NVC before they closed tonight. So relieved.
