2 days :)

That's not too bad. Could you schedule an appointment for the written test on the same day when you applied for your license?

My husband won't be here next week and I am hoping to have my driver's license by then so that I am able to drive around.

I had the written the same day I walked in there so that was easy and quick.

Called and got an appointment for the roadtest so that was also easy to do.

Since your husband is not home then you need somebody else to drive you and your car to the DMW for the driving test.

Well, I hope to get everything done this week.

I PASSED the written test.

How much do I have to pay for the road test? I paid $10 for the written test.

The only documents they wanted to see was my EAD, I-797C of the I-485, my passport and a proof of address.

She does not need that form when she has the card in hand.

She should bring the NOA1 from AOS however just in case.

I'm just telling her what I was asked. I had the ead card and they still asked for it

Make no sense what so ever. Are you sure it wasn't your NOA1 from AOS they asked for because that's normal they ask for that one.

I don't know what you are trying to show me but there is no way or no place they ask for the I-765 (as you said) why would they care about the application for EAD? They want to see the EAD card and then they want to see that there have been applied for AOS therefore the NOA1 from AOS I-797C

They asked for my EAD card and NOA1 of the Green Card application but not the NOA1 of the EAD.
