Finally, I start my 11 weeks processing today.  I just hope they stick with the 11 weeks. Started this journey on August 19, 2016.. At the time, USCIS were saying 4-5 months to process.. Ended up being 7 months... So fingers crossed for no more than 11 weeks to process for us April NVC (snail mail) filers...  AND Please no checklists... so stressful...

Below is my timeline between the USCIS approval to today. I didn't wait for the normal processing times of waiting 6 weeks, i was on the phone everyday with the NVC from April 5th trying to see where my file was and to quickly process /approve the 261 and pay the fees.

3/29/2017 i130 approved
4/5/2017 Mailed to NVC
4/10/2017 NVC received
4/11/2017 NVC case number assigned
4/14/2017 PAID AOS fee
4/18/2017 IV fee
4/19/2017 Mailed out Supporting documents
4/24/2017 NVC received documents
4/25/2017 scan date
4/26/2017 submitted the 260

nps u should take pictures to interview its not a requirement in case they need more proof of your relationship... some ppl dont even get asked for the pictures etc but it is best advised as a precaution
