Please help me. I had and interview last Feb.06, the ceac status stated READY then in march 05 we received and email it was like 221 but..

X__2.   You need to schedule an appointment for another interview, and bring with you the document(s) marked
below.  Present this letter at the Consular Ticket Booth on the day of your scheduled appointment.
_X_  Others:  For oath.

Look at the markings _X_  Others:  For oath. It doest not require any docs.
then called the usem in Mar.8 the concern was escalated  bec. we cannot create another appointment with the same mrv that needed to be closed. its taking too long to response. Is there any cases like this? what else can I do.
I just want to be with my fiance. Please help us.

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

You have a topic already started on this.  These questions were answered there.

As I said then, it appears the CO seems to have forgotten to give your the oath before interviewing you.. an  on his part.

Sorry you are still having issues with the MRV being cleared, to schedule another appt.

Only suggestion I can make is go to the embassy with a copy of the 221g email, they should direct you to window 36 (if memory services) they may allow you to get this handled then and there.   Hope this works.

Visa chase and citizenship.. DONE!

@Sagot could that be possible ? Can I enter the embassy even without an appointment just only this? I have heard a lot of saying that you can't just enter the embassy .help

I do know of Filipinos that have been allowed access and directed to window 36 (not sure of the window number but doesn't matter) to handle their issue.

Bring a copy of the 221g EMAIL with you... it just may be that easy... may.    If all that is required of you is to complete the OATH I would think they would "squeeze you in".  If there is something else in the 221g then I don't know.

I know in your situation I would give it a try.

Anything not inside the DO NOT OPEN ENVELOPE you can remove.   Do protect the envelope, I suggest keeping it inside the plastic and in your carry-on bag.
