Question on K1 timelines

I received my I-797C, Notice of Action dated 3/7/2017. It said my I-129F application had been received and is in process. It has a receipt # was assigned to the CSC. When I checked the USCIS website it says "On March 2, 2017, we received your Form I-129F, Petition for Fiance(E), Receipt Number WACxxxxxxxxxx, and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice".  There were no specific instructions on the I-797C other than contact the USCIS if the info was wrong. It is 3 weeks and I have had no more info. The VJ historical processing times says Step 1: I-129F NOA1 Issue Time --> Filing date to I-129F NOA1 Date   the I-129F's with a file date of roughly 9 days ago (March 18,2017) are being processed in the CSC. Is my  notice date on the I-797C considered the same as the file date? When can I expect to get my NOA1?

Expect 90-120 days for a NOA2 (or RFE) currently. You may get lucky and be sooner, but the majority are taking around that time.

 

Edit: The I-797C is the NOA1.

5/1/2017: Case received by Manila (1 week embassy transfer??? Lucky~)

7/13/2017: Interview: APPROVED!!!

7/19/2017: Visa in hand

The notice of action that you received is your NOA1.  The next step is just wait to receive your NOA2 stating that your petition was approved.  Expect a 4-6 month time frame, be thankful if it's less!

04/25/2017- NOA1 for 2nd K1.
07/27/2017- Case transferred to TSC.
11/17/2017- Case transferred back to CSC.
01/16/2018- NOA2!! (266 day wait)
03/08/2018- Interview (AP)
05/03/2018- VISA APPROVAL!!!
05/14/2018- Visa issued
05/18/2018- Visa picked up
05/25/2018- HE'S HOME!!! 💙💙💙

NOA stands for Notice Of Action. :)

You receive NOA1 stating that your case has been accepted and NOA2 stating that your case has been approved  (pending all goes well).

 

NOA is a VJ term, the official name is Notice Of Action, form I-797C.  Whenever a decision is made on your case with USCIS, you will receive an I-797C informing you of the action taken.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
