Hello.

I got a CC on May 18 and even was told I was in line for interview and now I received an email with check list :(I dont  know what is going on

Worry not thats what they call a 'false checklist'. If you got confirmation about CC on the phone then all is well. Ignore the checklist and call nvc few days later about interview date.

I have only read about other people receiving false checklists before. To be sure, call them up early monday morning US time to double check but I think you'll be fine.

I think it must be automated, so e.g. if someone touches you case at NVC, it should reflect on the site immediately. So, probably not on weekends since they are closed.

Awew thanks hopefully what they asked was sent to them my lawyer prepared everything. I was not able to sleep. Thank you I will call monday to double check

Does the checklist ask you to bring the missing item to the interview?

I called last night.  My case is not in review yet.  This past week we seemed to have stalled at March 20 scan dates.

03/23/2017: Send AOS and IV Package :    2017-03-23
03/24/2017: Scan date
03/25/2017: Expedite Request
03/28/2017: NVC forwarded expedite request to embassy
03/30/2017: Embassy expedite approved

they ask for I 864 signature sheet and yes police certificate of Mexico for my husband. I sent I 864 at the very beginning except Police certificate my lawyer said to take it to interview not to send it to NVC thats why i did not send it

 Please don't ignore the checklist. Currently NVC is giving CC to the cases where only one or two docs are pending or correction is required. In those cases rather than making people wait for another 11weeks they are asking them to bring those documents during interview. Sending checklist is the way through which they inform. So be happy that you got CC and read the letter carefully so that you don't miss on any mandatory documents listed over there for the interview. Checklist has the codes in front of the document name, u have to go through them carefully and ensure you have everything with you.

Hello. Thank you for the advise I will call early morning to NVC and if i am missing something I will let my lawyer know of the email he also gets the same emails as me
