Quick question guys. I am a young actor from Jamaica who landed a lead role in a movie that was film in California and Jamaica last year. I traveled to the US twice since the filming. My i 130 have now been approved and the producer  is telling me that I have to travel to the US again this week for matters relating to the film. I have an 02 visa ( alien with extraordinary ability in the area of film and athletics). When I’m traveling this week, Will it be a problem seeing that my i130 have now been approved?

Congrats

Looking at your timeline, it took them less than 2 weeks actually to view your case again and make a decision.

Happy for you anyways

Yes you are right!! I believe it was an easy decision since the RFE was just a passport style photo of myself.

Anyone have an idea how long it takes after approval to get an interview date? Im a citizen and just yesterday got my noa2 approved and my wife and i were wondering when  she would be here.

It depends on the country.  I would suggest looking at timelines for the country of origin of your spouse, which should give you a sense for timing.  You first have to go through the NVC which is a 1-3 month process before the file is even sent onto the embassy.

its really up to the customs officer to determine whether you will be allowed into the country or not. you might have to show ties to you home country. and i would probably show whatever communication you received to come back and film again.

So 1-3 months before embassy, the average time after that?

You would have to look up the data for your specific embassy. you should be able to do that in the "processing times" or "timeline" section of visa journey.
