Is there a Filing fee for I-864

Hi, I have read that there is a filing fee for the i-864 if looked at domestically. My fiance and I will be applying for AOS based on marriage within 90 days. Do we still have to pay this fee or just the $1225 for the AOS? I could not seem to find any information bout the actual fee for I-864....

I don't know what fee you're talking about. You have to pay the current fee for i-485 (don't forget to include the biometrics fee).

What status is he adjusting from? If work/student/visitor visa, you'll also have to submit a i-130 petition which carries a separate fee. You can submit both petitions at the same time.

I'm assuming your fiance arrived on a K-1 based on the 90 day statement. If so, after you marry within the 90 days, you just need to file for AOS and pay the $1225. You may include EAD and AP as well at no extra cost. No I-130 is needed if you marry within the 90 days from entering on the K-1.

 

Edit: And yes, there is no fee for the I-864. That's a supporting document needed for the I-485.
