You can't argue with irrational. It's a bitter pill for the MDRs to admit the so-called president wasn't elected by the majority of the American people, especially when there are questions being raised as to how the elections may have been manipulated. Candidate Trump himself stated several times the elections were going to be rigged, possibly to preempt any investigations into the elections.

 

The guy doesn't have a mandate from the people, and was elected under questionable circumstances - they MDRs don't have much to go with, so we need to give them a break.

He was elected by a vast majority of the states. Just the way our founding fathers meant for it to be. The electoral college was set up so that one or two very populous states could not run the whole country. That is why every state gets two senators regardless of population .

 

I dont know why such a well designed easy concept is so hard for the MDL to grasp .

I don't dispute your claim, and in fact, that was not the point I was making. I only wanted to highlight the fact the so-called president was not elected by the majority of the American people, which is something that must hurt his ego, as it obviously does the MDRs'.

Was a present ever elected by the majority of the American people? 

 

Coming from a Parliamentary system, very unusual, not sure I recollect it happening.
