Is the tax transcript necessary? I did not think it was a requirement.

@Holly♡ this is what I am trying to find out . if they want the tax transcript too, or not . is enough the w2 and 1040,employer letter , bank letter , pay stubs? these tax transcript are not ease to get , at the 1800 number you just communicate with the robot , they don't confirm your address, nor the documents that you ask, you just type (after listening a zillion of messages) the years you want the transcripts for and after the call ends up automatically ; so basically we don't even know that those transcripts are actually coming to us anytime after 10 days:blink:

I know this has been asked a bunch of times... but I don't know how to go back and search for the answer. For i-134, Can someone remind me if we are supposed to answer yes or no for question 38 ("I intend/do not intend to make specific contributions...). Thanks so much!!

Mark yes, ("I do intend") and in the last page of the form, for additional info, type "N/A, K1 visa for permanent residence"

I agree!!!  It is really hard to find what you are looking for in a thread this big!

And to answer your question... Click I intend and then on the last page reference this page and part # and then write *NA - K1 Visa Application process for permanent residency* in the space provided

Well, I messaged @AnnieBee to see if she has some kind of list that she can reference for us.
I know I am giving a lot of stuff to my F over email in a folder and only mailing the stuff that has hand written signatures... for 2 reasons: 1. it cuts down on the cost of mailing ALL of that paper work and 2. He will get it immediately so, even if I don't have something now, I will eventually and I know I would be able to get it to him through email or skype before the interview.
I just scanned everything into my computer.
So, the only stuff I am mailing to him: 1-134, updated letter of intent, letter from bank, and letter from employer... all the supporting evidence is going by email  hehe

I know it has been asked million times and I did as well a research on this website , I couldn't find anywhere a clear answer with bullet points "you need this , this and this" . Maybe the precise German @TearsOfBabylon , since she had recently her interview can clarify with both documents for affidavit and the question 38 :D  Danke!

So quiet here these last 24 hrs...  I have been quiet too due to work and still planning stuff.
Got a HUGE surprise from my sister who said she wanted to pay for the wedding! She did some research and found that the beaches on the west coast of Florida are much nicer and cleaner so, that was enough for me to make my final decision in choosing to do it on the west coast.
As of now, my case is still sitting at the NVC... it has been almost a week so, just kinda wondering whats up with that?! Thinking of calling tomorrow to see if I can get any additional info since I was told it would be there only a few days. And I can only imagine how long it will take to get to the embassy by snail mail.. ugh Just hope it didn't get lost in another crack somewhere since I have seen others moving right along with some speed hehe
With this being a new week and the last week of the month, maybe this big push that I have heard about will continue and everyone's cases will be moved forward from where they are currently laying!

Oh, and @pajobra... I think you had mentioned something in regards to the electronic cases being due to filling out that form.. I had talked to someone at the NVC about this and it is actually about the different countries who receive the files/cases electronically and I think that is why and when they tell people that their case is being expedited... if I remember correctly, I think Canada is one of those countries.

When I put the case# in the tracker thing, it says it is still at the NVC =/ it was last Tuesday when I got the case#.. like why are they holding on to it?! =*( I should hope they would just want it gone! I know I want it gone!  lol

Yes, @Marzena & Stephen we tried this in the morning for two hours, we filled in the USC info, passed the email confirmation page with the code that we got and after they say on the last page to fill in the use phone number and to fill back in the code sent. we didn't get the code none of the 3 times we tried, we tried the 'try again' option to resend the code, negative. not even now ,after 4 hours we didn't receive any code. I don't know if it is a problem from my fiance's phone or the irs.gov website .....

that's why I hope the w2 and 1040 is enough coz I cannot take this irs timing and procedure

good morning ,

this is for US citizen, please i need your advice :

- we can get the petitioner's W2 and 1040 from his accountant printed straight away but for the tax transcript ,we called today the 1800 number and it is just a conversation with the robot . we asked for the 2013, 2014, 2015 tax transcript and the robot says we will get in in 5-10 working days.

the thing is now that i think my case will be ready for the interview sooner so I don' t really want to wait all this time for the tax transcript . is there any other way to get this documents sooner? ( we tried as well to create an account on the www.irs.gov website but we cannot get through , we never receive the confirmation code to create an account on the phone number of the US citizen....so frustrating , we tried 3 times already)

any ideas...?

To view and print your transcripts online, go toIRS.gov and use the Get Transcript tool. No waiting just print them out.

yes, exactly, they ask for your name , SSN, address, after your email and they send the first confirmation code. later ,when you move to the next steps they ask a credit card or account no for further confirmation and eventually the phone number associated with the USC . after this step we couldn't move ahead since we didn't get any code via phone...
