I think I read it somewhere that they have flexible hours, so it's not unheard of to be approved on a Saturday. Someone might have been making up for a missed weekday.

Hah, always discovering new things about this process

Maybe they don't really work on cases but they do notify of approvals, since what shows is the Notice Date.

Thank you for sharing Olya We must have been quite lucky to have gotten a responsible and diligent adjudicator who's willing to look at cases on a Saturday.

I was already thinking we might get one because I didn't explicitly state how we met online (just talked about our in person meetings) but then I discovered we didn't check that box that others have mentioned about whether or not he's been to the US. They really need to move that question!  Sigh.

The thing is that Eric is coming here in August, and we were hoping to go to the interview together. It might still be possible if we are lucky but now I can't count on that.

My fiancé is also planning to come for the interview but as we do not know the approximate dates yet so I can only assume when we will meet.

Hey not checking the box might lead to a RFE.

 

However, not stating how you met online is not an issue because Question 34a was asking about in-person meetings (you can refer to the new form as it specifically said that so you didn't do it wrong in the old form ) We only mentioned our in-person meetings and got the NOA2 just fine.

Thank you!!  That's all I thought it was asking but others here have indicated otherwise so I wasn't sure.  Now I really wish I hadn't missed that question.  Frustrating because we both looked over the form and managed to miss it.  D'oh!

I've got no clear idea about that since USCIS tracker isn't working. We called the first time on the 9th day. The file is there but no one touched it yet

I was concerned we would get RFE for missing a box on G-325a,noticed my mistake day after sending off petition 😬 All that worry for nothing lol 😂
