I have a question about the i-864 Part 5 Sponsor's Household Size

Item Number 3. Enter “1” if you are married. Enter “0” if you are not married.

I'm sponsoring my spouse, if I enter 1 in box #1 and 1 in box #2, what about box #3 it's confusing because if I indicate 1 the household size will be 3 and not 2, so I  entered 0 for box #3, as "Make sure you do not count any individual more than once"  see below Right?

Part 5. Sponsor’s Household Size
Add together the number of persons for whom you are financially responsible. Some of these persons may not be residing with you. Make sure you do not count any individual more than once. In some cases the same person could fit into two categories. For example, your spouse, whom you would enter in Item Number 3., might also be a lawful permanent resident for whom you have already sponsored using Form I-864 (Item Number 6.). If you included your spouse on Item Number 3., do not include him or her again on Item Number 6.

Item Number 1. Provide the number you entered in Part 3., Item Number 28. If you or someone else is completing Form I-864 on a computer, this box will auto-populate.
Item Number 2. This field is auto-populated to “1.”
Item Number 3. Enter “1” if you are married. Enter “0” if you are not married.

Yeah, we found that to be pretty confusing as well, and thought it must have been a glitch on Adobe. We were able to print a blank page (for that particular one) and filled out the correct "size" of our household by hand (02).

I'm having doubts with regards to the RFE on our I-485; it was,  as we suspected, relating to the Affidavit of Support, where they need my husband's tax return information. As it happens, he has not lived in the US since 2008, and as such, did not file taxes (he was not employed here in the US); until this year, when we both returned and he is now filing for the 2017-2018 period.

My question is: will this year's tax returns be sufficient, or will we need to explore having his taxes from Brazil translated and included in our documentation?
