Hello,

I was wondering if someone could give me a summary of what sort of documents I must include with the K1 Fiancee Visa Form I-129F before submittal?  The instructions says that there needs to be the Biographic Form G-325A and passport photos of both me and my fiancee as well as my birth certificate here in the U.S, the statement of intent to marry, and evidence the my fiancee and myself have met in person but I have others tell me that I also need other sort of documents to send in with it besides what is listed in the instructions.  Documents like police background checks from where she has lived at, and documents of a chest radiography of her and a biometric screening of the both of us.  I am new to having a fiancee overseas and the K1 Fiancee Visa process so anything at all will be helpful to me.  She is currently in the Philippines and I am in the U.S.A. so I am trying to get a list of all the documents and other things which we need to get accomplished and together in order to start the process of the K1 Fiancee Visa correctly.

Thank you in advanced for any assistance you may be able to provide me with!

The documents like the police certificate(s), the medical, and others will come at the K-1 visa stage. The first step is the I-129F petition, which only needs the documents you noted. Just follow the guide and you'll be fine. It lists the documents you need.

Manila embassy is fairly simple, so there's no need to "front load" information. Just supply the documents requested and you'll be fine. The main points are proof that you met at least once within the past 2 years. Photos are secondary evidence...things like boarding passes, invoices, etc. that list you two together at the same place and date work well.
