My fiance is the petitioner,please is it true that if my fiance didnt submit enough evidence at the petition stage,whatever evidence i send to the interview may not really be looked into ?Please help with answers.Thanks

It's not a strict requirement to do that (called "front loading" here), but Ghana is a very strict and high fraud embassy. Generally, front loading is highly recommended as the suspicion is that the COs there form their opinion on approval before the actual interview.

 

That said, I think you can just add more evidence at the NVC stage. Many people front load and then "side load" at NVC as well.

Agree with above. It depends on the embassy honestly, not sure about "adding" more during any phase of the process minus what you take into the interview itself.

 

It is believed that a lot of CO's make their decision before the interview itself when they briefly review the petition and evidence submitted originally. 

 

Sometimes they may look at stuff you brought, sometimes they don't bother. So yes for some embassies, like Ghana, it is important to add a lot at the beginning; but that does not mean it would result in a denial either.

You won't be able to "side load" at the NVC stage for a K-1 Visa.  They just create a case number and forward the petition.  Side loading is for CR-1 or IR-1 when it's required to send documents to the NVC for processing.

My husband had his interview at the Ghana embassy today. I can tell you we had questions from evidence submitted to the USCIS and at the time of the interview. That said it's not always the case that the CO will review much of the evidence brought at the interview. It is recommended to frontload as others have mentioned. Since you can't at this point, focus on submitting quality evidence at the interview and organize it well to make it easy for the CO.

Hi maametiwaa , Where did you get your certificate of no marriage and how is it like ? Someone is trying to get me one in Ghana but I am afraid it does not look really genuine.
