Good day everyone. I would just like to ask your advise on what will I do with my Yellow Envelope from the Singapore because it has tear on it. I am now in Philippines and my flight to US will be on February 27, 2017.

I would appreciate your help.

Normally the advise would be to contact the embassy and have it re-sealed. But since you're in a different country that's kind off harder. Anyway you can contact the embassy in the Philippines and see if they are willing to re-seal? Or maybe contact the original one and ask them for advise. It doesn't look like a big tear, but it's clearly a tear.

My husbands envelope was torn and it wasn't an issue. Ideally as long as it's not big enough where they could do something through it to tamper, you're good, but a lot of people go through with torn envelopes and stuff. lol

If you are worried though, you can contact the embassy and get it real sealed, but you would need to be able to get it back to the embassy and then wait for it to come back, so it may just be more worth it to try to go with it like that. It's one of the smaller tears I've seen on VJ.

Just take care of it, put it away and don't do anything with it like try to put tape on it as that can give them reason to think it was tampered with. Do all you can to ensure the tear doesn't get bigger.

Minor tear. Should be fine as long as contents are not tampered with.

Put a clear tape on it.. and keep it safe till day of travel.
