I keep seeing January approvals and I'm getting excited, worried and anxious.  All at once.

Hi guys,
Has anyone received their NOA2 but its taking forever to reach the NVC??
Got my approval letter on 9/9 with approval date being 9/1. However as of today my case still hasn't been sent to NVC, they said it could take up to 6 weeks but I find this to be ridiculously long. The website still says "Case Received", whats taking so long??

Imagine each center having 30000 cases processed each month and 1000 processed per day but hiring only 4 mail persons... :D

LOL when you put it like that, I better just sit back and be patient

Mine was approved Aug 31, sent to DOS on Sep 25.

Did you make an inquiry after the NOA2 date so they are closing your case later than they should be?

Hey guys, I sent my I-130 to Chicago lockbox and it was received on Feb 21, 2017. NOA1 received 2 weeks later (we're in New Zealand) and our application was sent to the Nebraska centre. We're spouses so no priority date.

Today is October 13th, almost 8 months later, and still no NOA2. Has anyone else who filed around the same time and was sent to Nebraska received their NOA2?

February 8th here, they haven't started working on February cases, that's right. They keep going back and forth with December-January filers since August.

My case was approved 09/12 and i still havent received anything from NVC  also.

Approval date of 9/11 and nothing yet from the NVC.

Is the next step just waiting for paperwork from them?

Should I start prepping something while waiting?
